Wandsworth’s annual Fireworks Extravaganza opens its doors once again with its Bonfire Village and WhizzBang Wonderland. Keep reading to find out more about the Battersea Park fireworks celebrations for 2023…

London favourite, Wandsworth Council’s Battersea Park Fireworks will return to the much-loved park for two days on November 4th and 5th. The display is a truly unmissable show delivered by Titanium Fireworks who have provided notable displays to such prestigious events as The Mayor of London’s New Year’s Eve Celebrations and the Commonwealth Games. Famed for its joyous sing-alongs and feel-good moments, selling out in record time last year, this is the Bonfire Night event not to be missed.

SATURDAY – Bonfire Night at Battersea Park

When: Saturday the 4th of November
Time:
Gates open from 6PM

The annual event from Wandsworth Council and Enable, is already one of London’s biggest and best and we are so excited to announce that brand new to 2023, Bonfire Night will be open later than ever before. Included in the tickets is access to Bonfire Village which will house a brand-new street food market where alongside delicious autumnal street eats you can wrap your hands around a warming mulled-wine, or head over for a craft beer.

You can expect the breathtaking Fireworks display at its usual time of approximately 8.10PM. But the fun doesn’t end right after the show. You can stick around, soak up the atmosphere with a drink and some live music and DJs late into the evening. For the first time ever, Battersea Park Fireworks will stay open until 11PM for our Saturday ticket holders! This will all be available before the fireworks display too – so make sure you head down early to really make the most of it.

SUNDAY – Family Night Fireworks at Battersea Park

When: Sunday the 5th of November
Time:
Gates open from 5PM

This year family fireworks at Battersea Park is the ideal place to head with your little ones. Named WhizzBang Wonderland, gates open at 5pm and you can enjoy glow in the dark merchandise, sweets and treats, children’s discos, shows, entertainment and more. And not only that, but 2023 sees Bluey and Bingo heading to the park before the fireworks display for a series of performances. Take a spin on some classic fairground rides such as the dodgems, waltzers and a ferris wheel. The display on Sunday will start around 7:10pm.

Wandsworth Borough Council have pledged to be carbon-neutral by 2030 so this will be a carbon-neutral event. The event’s carbon footprint will be tracked, finding as many ways as possible to minimise and reduce and all unmitigated emissions will be offset. No single-use plastic will be issued on site, and nothing will go to landfill.
