MSC Euribia – The cruise line’s most energy efficient offering with so much to give

Cruising is an industry that’s showing no signs of slowing down. More ships are being released all the time and the offerings onboard are only getting better. Yet as the popularity rises, so does the impact they have on the environment. It’s no secret that travel puts its footprint on the environment and with sustainability being so important it’s down to those in the industry to do what they can to help this. MSC Euribia is one such example of what can be done and is paving the way for the future of ocean adventure. Powered by LNG with a range of technologies and solutions to minimise the impact on the air and marine environment, it’s an example of what can be done.

Yet this is a ship that comes as a whole package. As well as having these excellent core values it also offers so much for you to see and do. Cruising is all about making the journey just as much fun as the destination and with a choice of ten dining venues, twenty-one bars, a spa, theatre, five swimming pools, one of the biggest water parks at sea and a whole shopping street there’s no chance of you getting bored. Here we round up the top things we love about the MSC Euribia.

The selection of dining on board

MSC Euribia

As mentioned above, MSC Euribia is not short of dining experiences. You can head to Hola! for tapas and margaritas, Kaito for fresh sushi, Kaito Teppanyaki for delicious Asian dishes prepared in front of you, L’Atelier du Voyageur for their stylish on-board bistro, Le Grill for mouthwatering steak, Jean-Philippe for crepes and gelato and the Atmosphere ice cream bar for a selection of frozen treats. You also have the main dining rooms that are included in your cruise fare as well as the marketplace buffet where you can tuck into an array of pizzas, pastas and other worldwide cuisine. No matter what you’re after, you’re sure to find it onboard.

There’s something for the whole family

MSC Euribia

If you have a family, finding a holiday that suits everyone can be difficult to do. Some members of your group might like to relax around a pool, while others might want to be doing something all the time. MSC Euribia caters for those of all ages, with kids clubs that suit from babies to teens and a vast array of activities in the daily planner. You can head to the arcade where you can play on a range of games, go bowling, experience a 5D cinema experience and try their VR experience. You can sunbathe round the main pools, try the Himalayan Bridge, splash about in the Ocean Cay aquapark, watch shows in the Delphi theatre and try your hand at blackjack or the slots in the casino. There are also plenty of shops onboard so whether you want some new jewellery, a handbag or a bottle of something to take home you can do so.

The swimming pools

MSC Euribia

There are five pools on MSC Euribia and one of the largest at-sea waterparks. With the largest pool measuring 1.700m2 there is plenty of room to cool off alongside other guests as you glide through the ocean, taking in the views around you.Whether you prefer to relax and sunbathe, go down the many waterslides of the Ocean Cay aquapark or relax in one of their large hot tubs with a cocktail, you’re spoilt for choice. We recommend the infinity pool at the back of the ship for some of the best and most unonstructed views while you swim.

The cabins

There are a wide array of cabins on MSC Euribia depending on what you’re looking for and what your budget is. If you’re looking to go all out, we recommend the MSC Yacht Club, the area that the cruiseline labels “a ship within a ship”. This is the most premium offering on board and has its own dining area, private pools and bar area as well as sumptuously spacious rooms to enjoy. Aside from the yacht club you can choose to stay in interior rooms, ocean view cabins, suites or balcony rooms, with some coming in Deluxe or Aurea class. All rooms are well designed with plenty of storage, hairdryers, TVs and minibars. Decor is stylish yet minimal and evokes a sense of calm from the moment you enter your cabin.

The range of entertainment

Entertainment has always been a fundamental part of MSC Cruises offering and the MSC Euribia doesn’t disappoint. The Carousel Lounge has been reimagined to offer live music each evening, table games and even ballroom dancing. The main theatre offers a myriad of shows including:

  • Circus 1920: A nostalgic look back into the magical world of the circus, featuring extraordinary death-defying specialty performers. The show will be led by a captivating ringmaster and include fun dance routines, vintage costumes and incredible stage sets, all designed to mimic a bygone era while embracing modern skills and talent.
  • Generation Rock: Classic feel-good rock! Guests will be taken on a journey through generations of the greatest rock bands and artists of all time, including hits from legends like AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Kiss, Journey & Queen.
  • Illuminicity: The best arcade game on the block. MSC Cruises’ most technical show yet will be set inside a video game, featuring a terrific cast with fantastic light-up costumes, sceneries and interactive visuals to create an awe-inspiring visual extravaganza on stage.
  • Jukebox L!ve: Showcasing the finest vocalists in a show all about Funk, Soul and Rock n’ Roll, this show draws inspiration from the full pop spectrum and is set in a fictional Vegas showroom. Audiences will know every word of each song and be encouraged to join in to sing the hits performed in a contemporary style!
  • Song Book – Ed Sheeran: Celebrating the life of Ed Sheeran, who started as a street busker and went on to sell out Wembley Stadium, the show will follow the ship’s own team of buskers as they journey to stardom. Guests can expect reimagined arrangements, commercial choreography, sensational acrobatic dance, living statues as well as hand balance artists, bringing the genre of street performers to the big stage accompanied by a playlist of Sheeran’s hits.
  • Variety: A spectacular show featuring guest entertainers, musicians, acrobats and a resident cast, the ship’s incredible talent is showcased in a show that will adapt and change according to each destination in which the ship sails, the audience and time of year.
  • Guest Entertainers: Featuring top-level talent selected from around the world to perform one-off unique performances.
