A look at the new makeup line from George Cosmetics

Date:

George Cosmetics eponymous new line shows it’s serious about beauty…

When it comes to beautifully aesthetic makeup lines, it’s unlikely the first brand which comes to mind is George at Asda. But that’s all about to change with the brand’s eponymous new cosmetics collection which is a treat for the eyes as well as the skin. The new George Cosmetics collection launches on October the 1st and it made of 156 different products from soft creamy foundations and contour kits to vibrant on trend colours for the eyes, lips and nails.

One of the best part of the collection is the swish, premium packaging in glamorous tones of matte black and rose gold. Not only is it totally Instagram worthy (don’t forget to use the #Gorgeous) but it is amazingly affordable, with prices starting at just £2. In fact the whole range, which is designed to appeal to women of all ages contains no single product which will cost more than £6.

Lips

George Cosmetics Asda

The lip line-up is perhaps our favourite of the new George Cosmetics range, with a selection of products all in a host of shades and finishes. The Vitamin-E enriches matte lipsticks leave your lips with that trendy matte finish without drying them out and the liquid lipsticks (in both matte and metallic finishes) are easy to apply and don’t bleed as with some lip products leaving you with a flawless finish. There are a number of shades to enjoy (“A-list” is our favourite for serious pouty glamour) including Red Carpet, Hot Gossip and Rare.

Eyes

George Cosmetics Asda
Aswell as a revamp to their mascara collection, the new George Cosmetics range features a great interchangeable Eyeshadow palette which can be personalised from 16 different shades. This waves goodbye to having half an eyeshadow palette which is never used! You can also tame your brows with their new tamer brow cream in three shades depending on your hair preference. There are also some pearlescent eye shadow creams which will be perfect for completing your Christmas party smoky eye look.

Face

George Cosmetics Asda

As we all know, contouring is in and the George Cosmetics contour items are ideal for adding shading and highlight to your face. They have a contouring powder palette, contour crayons, a highlighter powder palette, strobe crayons, highlighter cream and baked bronzer for ultimate shimmer and luminosity – the highlighter , is  a great addition to your makeup kit and better than some of the more premium lines on the market. For fixing imperfections use their new airbrush primer or illuminating primer – both quick and easy to pop on before your foundation.
