There’s no food quite like a really good Italian and if there’s anyone that knows anything about decent food, it’s the Good Food Society. Which is why we’re pleased to announce the Good Food Society has opened the doors of their new Italian bar and restaurant, Caffe Cinquanta in the heart of London’s Baker Street. The restaurant is a stylish space, with timeless, classic Italian cooking alongside quality wines, cocktails and beers. They are open from 11am to 11pm and their aim is to pair simplicity and elegance in equal measure.

Caffe Cinquanta seats up to 84 guests within the open plan dining room, with the chance to sit at the bar where you can watch mixologists at work, or on the mini-terrace area where you can people-watch the happenings on Baker Street over an Espresso Martini (or two!)

They serve a light Italian breakfast of pastries and fresh coffee before midday when the menu then switches to an all-day offering. The main feature of the menu is Italian dishes that are all made fresh with the highest quality ingredients directly imported from Italy. The menu also boasts daily changing specials and amazing Italian signature dishes such as Rigatoni alla Carbonara, Spaghetti Pomodoro con la n’duja, Zucchini Trombetta and Carciofi e Fava. Drinks wise, the menu works to match the food offering, with a host of classic Italian spirits and house wines as well as cocktails such as a classic Negroni, Aperol Spritz and Espresso Martini.

Caffe Cinquanta is aiming to place itself firmly in the community and will run regular projects and neighbourhood events throughout the year.
