See the Harry Potter dark arts at Warner Bros Studios
The Warner Bros. Harry Potter studio is celebrating the run up to Halloween by showing the darker side of the series. The Great Hall will be decorated with more than 100 floating pumpkins and the banqueting tables laden down with apples, candy and cauldrons. Visitors will be able to test their wand technique by battling a Death Eater in a special experience developed by combat choreographer Paul Harris, before taking part in a reinactment of an epic Hogwarts battle. You can also see all the dark arts costumes and props. (Everything is included in the standard ticket price.)

Drink your favourite tipples at London Cocktail Week
London Cocktail Week returns for another week of events and tastings surrounding our favourite mixed up tipples. Instead of previous years where you got a wristband, you purchase tickets through the DrinkUp.London app. A £10 pass entitles you to £6 cocktails in many of the best bars in the city. The HQ for the week is Old Spitalfields Market and throughout the city you can expect events, masterclasses and pop-ups. Find out more here.

See Frieze London – a free sculpture exhibition
Wander through a stunning outdoor exhibition featuring works by some of the world’s most famous sculptors with Frieze Sculpture 2017 in Regent’s Park’s English Gardens. There are 25 sculptures altogether by acclaimed 20th-century and contemporary artists. Highlights of the sculpture trail include works by John Chamberlain, Urs Fischer, Gary Hume, Michael Craig-Martin, Eduardo Paolozzi and Ugo Rondinone. You can also join a guided tour of the open-air display, or download the free Frieze Sculpture Audio Tour app, with descriptions of all the artworks on show.

Get involved in the BFI London Film Festival
One of the world’s top film festivals, the BFI London Film Festival (LFF) presents the best in international cinema with red carpet premieres, gala events, talks, workshops and screenings of feature films, as well as shorts and documentaries, at venues across the city. The event draws in renowned actors and directors, as well as emerging talents and audiences from around the world.

Head to a Tequila & Mezcal Fest
Tequila & Mezcal Fest is returning to the Old Truman for the fourth year in a row and is the UK’s first ever and only festival dedicated exclusively to showcasing the very best bits of Mexico. Some of London’s favourite restaurants such as Barrio bars, Cafe Pacifico and Temper will be serving food and drink and there’s also a mariachi band, folklore dancers, an Aztec ceremony performance, art exhibition by artist Honorio Robledo and a photographic exhibition dedicated to the agave process. It’s one fiesta not to be missed!
