With an impressive 33 years on Kensington Church Street, Ffiona’s has become something of a London institution. Founded and opened in 1993 by sisters Ffiona and Althea, the restaurant has built a loyal following thanks to its delicious food, welcoming atmosphere and genuinely personal hospitality. In fact, Ffiona herself is still there most evenings, greeting guests and making sure everyone feels right at home.
To celebrate its 33rd anniversary, Ffiona’s is serving a special festive three-course menu from 1–23 December, with a tempting selection of seasonal dishes. Expect traditional bronze turkey with all the trimmings, chalk stream trout, rare-breed pork chop and a vegan shepherd’s pie, followed by homemade Christmas trifle.
There’s plenty of thought for different dietary requirements, too, with most dishes adaptable to be gluten or dairy-free.
It’s little wonder Ffiona’s has remained a firm favourite for more than three decades, having even been named Best Restaurant in Kensington 2024 at the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Business Awards.
