When we stayed at Keyonna Beach, we were in one of the sea-facing rooms, which was equipped with rustic hand-crafted furniture including a beautiful four-poster king size bed and authentic ‘his and hers’ outdoor showers. Our private veranda was the ideal spot to relax on sun loungers under the warm caribbean lightlight with a book and cocktail in hand. There is no television or radio in the room, something which further adds to the tranquillity of the space and with all inclusive drinks always available, you’re free to recline, relax and be spoilt from the moment you first step into the resort to the moment you leave.

The staff are a real high-point to the resort as they are very welcoming, helpful and attentive – particularly Clint and Sandy. They really make a difference to your stay and ensure you feel welcome as soon as you arrive.
You can while away the hours at Keyonna on the breathtaking beach, with a waiter service on hand to ensure your favourite cocktail is not too far away. The views are incredible, the sand white as can be and the water crystal clear. It is picturesque and a sight that you need to see to appreciate the full beauty of it.

Dinner is served on the on-site beach restaurant- a multi-tiered wooden terrace which facilitates open-air dining beneath a canopy of seaside grape trees. The food standard is exemplary and with a total of seven chefs sharing their culinary expertise, there really is a mastermind of flavours and dishes to sample. The sommelier that explained the red, white and rosé wine on offer every evening was a great addition to our dining and further portrayed the care put forth for each and every guest. Live evening entertainment was a welcome accompaniment to the meal and with the sun setting in the background, you feel as though there is no where else in the world you would rather be.

The general manager, Wilmer Duran, showed just how much he cares about his guests’ experience as he came by every table one morning at breakfast to speak to everyone. We were going scuba diving that particular morning and he told us about the dive sites nearby. We completed our PADI open water diver qualifications in Antigua and would highly recommend Indigo Divers as a company. Pats took very good care of us and was an excellent instructor. We learnt so much from her years of experience and expertise and Antigua truly is a beautiful location to see the reefs and the fish delights under the clear waters.
