The John Lewis Skyline Skating rooftop garden is inspired by the 17th century frost fairs that originally took place on top of the river Thames when it had frozen over. Stepping out of the elevator onto the rooftop you’re greeted with a truly magical scene, the entire rooftop is lit up by beautiful hanging bulbs emanating a cosy glow over the garden, picturesque pumpkins in rustic wheelbarrows reflect the presence of autumn and of course the skating rink that welcomes an element of festive fun to the evening.
