Cinemas have long evolved from what they used to be and Backyard Cinema is one of the most exciting we’ve been to. Popping up in different locations with different themes all through the year, Backyard Cinema offers a trip out like no other. This most recent LA nights theme is set to take you on a journey to the sunny Californian coast that you’ll never forget. Taking place in Camden’s Roundhouse, Backyard Cinema LA Nights, is transforming the venue into LA’s legendary Venice Beach where you will be welcomed with towering palm trees, a retro beach bar, classic West Coast tunes and a sea of giant bean bags on the sand.
At Backyard Cinema LA Nights You can tuck into a range of delicious summer food and drink, from adult only Slush Puppy cocktails, to vegan ice cream, it’s very own beer crafted by Gipsy Hill Brewing Company and so many other surprises. Their famous ‘sing-a-long’ beach parties will invite you to jump up and sing with other cinema goers, singing your heart out to some of the most classical musical tunes of all time, dancing away in the sand. Los Angeles is the epicentre of entertainment and relaxation, making it the perfect theme of choice for Backyard Cinema. And the show begins before the film does, with DJ Jaguar Skills on hand to play a specially curated pre-show megamix that is inspired by west coast classics and movie soundtracks having you in the mood before the film even begins to roll!
