It has a population of 1,933,860 (Metropolitan Statistical Area) and is the largest city in the state behind Memphis and the fourth-largest in Southeastern US. Situated southwest of downtown, you can wander Music Row, an area dedicated to the city’s musical heritage and considered the heart of the city’s entertainment industry. Head to the Grand Ole Opry for a weekly American country music stage concert, or if you’re around in June, you can enjoy the CMA festival a four-day music festival centred on country music.
