First Look: London’s Roof East set to open for 2019 bigger and better than before

Night Tales East End Rooftop Terrace

Roof East brings the best games, food and drink to London’s skyline this summer – and it opens sooner than you think…

If you’ve not been to Roof East before, it’s one of London’s hottest and most vibrant rooftop locations and it’s opening for Summer with a whole new look, new things to do and so much more.

An explosion of brightly coloured backdrops, quirky visuals and non-stop fun, it’s every instagrammers dream. The ultimate adult playground, it’s packed with games such as curling, bowling, shuffling, Jenga, table, tennis, foosball and table top curling. There’s Sluggers (London’s only batting cages), country themed Birdies crazy golf and House of Foos – a VR mix of traditional football and table foosball that will really kickstart your summer!

If you’re after something a little more chilled, you can also enjoy Flow East Yoga with vinyasa classes each week overlooking the beautiful East London skyline – the ideal place to stretch and de-stress.

All these activities are guaranteed to drive up an appetite and a thirst, so Roof East are also introducing Roof Eats – a selection of carefully curated food stalls serving epic street food from all over the world. The line-up includes: Eat Chay, famous for their indulgent vegan food with flavour inspirations from traditional Vietnamese and Korean cuisines; Kolkati, serving flavour packed, North Indian inspired ‘Kati Rolls’ – a flaky egg-fried paratha wraps, filled with masala chicken or paneer and The Burger Project, a burger bar run by the King of Pop Ups — Jimmy Garcia.

There will also be three bars with a whole selection of quirky new cocktails such as “Knickerbocker Royale” and “Electric Boogaloo” – what better way to see in the summer?!

You don’t need to buy a ticket for Roof East, you can simply rock up and grab a drink as the rooftop and bar are open to all with no entrance fee. Adult tickets for games start from £8 and are available on the website. Rooftop Film Club will also be returning to Roof East in May with an exciting programme of new releases, cult classics and other cinematic spectacles.
