“A brilliant formula that pushes the boundaries of colour” – MAC’s latest claim on their new Liptensity Lipsticks which are due to be released at the end of this month.

Imagine your perfect lipstick colour, this set of 24 shades is bound to include it.

The 24 new MAC shades are said to be made in collaboration with a tetrachromat, this is someone who has the genetic ability to see over 100 million times more hues and colour then the usual naked eye ever could. Sounds amazing huh?

The shades range from deep dark blues, to lilac greys, even bright pinks and of course our upcoming autumnal favourite burgundy and berries. The formula is made to hold an intense amount of pigment, much more than a traditional tube of lippie resulting in an intense amount of colour pay off.

The lipsticks will be in a satin finish, yet still providing you with saturated colour. The formula is gel based which means it should be very comfortable to wear on the lips throughout the day.  When I think of satin finishes I don’t necessarily think of something that is hugely long wearing however, these lipsticks claim to have an 8 hour wear time. Who else will be testing this out when they’re released?

The packaging of these lipsticks gives them a real luxe feel. They are in a sleek black bullet with the top coordinating with the colour of the lipstick.
