One you have your perfect city break planned, it’s time to get the perfect outfit. Here are our top picks from this season’s Topshop Spring/Summer wear…
Dressing for sunnier climates can be tricky – striking the balance between looking chic, feeling yourself and not sweltering in the heat. This is why we decided to put together a couple of our favourite outfits from Topshop’s new Spring Summer range. The main reason we chose Topshop is thanks to their beautiful styles which look premium, feel premium, yet don’t linger at the premium price tag -Ideal for holidays in the heat where there is so much potential for staining disasters – suncream spillages/ knocked over jugs of sangria the list goes on.
The white broderie ruffle dress is beautifully cool, both in terms of sophistication and weather-wise. It’s ideal for popping on after morning by the pool and pairing with some flip flops to head into town for lunch. The ruffles and broderie detailing add that extra punch of style and it’s worth tying your hair up to show off the beautiful tie-up back.
For the ultimate in city chic, Topshop’s rose prom skirt is the ultimate go-to. When we headed to the centre of Lisbon it was 33 degrees celsius and the skirt kept me shaded from the sun as well as allowing a breeze around my calves. The colours of this skirt really pop, even more so when paired with a simple white-tee. The one below has a subtle embroidered detailing and its cropped length makes it the ideal holiday staple. Team with a pair of cut-off denim shorts and slides for a beach day.
