1Brighton Social 6-a-side Football

If you want to get into football but not take it too seriously this will be ideal for you. Brighton Social 6-a-side is a sociable league where you just book in whenever you want to play and turn up on the day. Players are of mixed ability and turn up just to have a kick about and a bit of fun. Matches last 60 minutes, all levels are welcome. It’s all about enjoying yourself whilst getting active at the same time! This is one of the friendliest sports clubs in Brighton we have been to.

2Brighton Table Tennis

Started by Tim Holtam & Harry McCarney, two keen ex-international Table Tennis players, Brighton Table Tennis has fast become one of the top sporting clubs in the country. With sessions for all age groups and abilities, you will be hard done by to not find a time that suits you best. Table Tennis is a great way to get into sport without overexerting yourself.

3Yellowave Volleyball

Why not try something a little different from the standard sports clubs in Brighton and learn to play volleyball? If you are new to volleyball, Yellowave runs weekly classes where the emphasis is on having fun while learning the key skills needed to play the game. Alternatively, if you already know how to play there are intimate classes available as well as drop-in sessions if you want to just play and have fun without a coach.

5Climbing Boulder Brighton

Bouldering is a form of rock climbing where the difference from standard rock climbing is that you climb without ropes, over safety mats at heights of up to 4 or 5 meters. 6Brighton Squash 

Not only is squash a great calorie burner (you can burn over 1000 calories in a session) but it’s also a sociable sport where you can meet new people. Brighton Squash takes place every Wednesday and Friday and caters for all ages and abilities with social players as well as 3 teams in the Sussex league.
