Heading to the entertainment capital of the world for the first time? Here are our top ways to prepare for your trip to Vegas…

Las Vegas is a city unlike any other. Where Time runs differently and you never quite know what you’ll find when you walk around the corner. You can go from riding a gondola in Little Venice to sipping French wine under the Eiffel Tower, to dancing in a pool party to the beat of one of the world’s best DJs. You may not expect it, but the foodie scene is fantastic, the nightlife unforgettable and the pace ready to take as you wish. You can wake early and go to bed in the small hours the next morning, or you can spend your days languidly by the pool before frequenting the casinos in the evening. Invest in some good walking shoes

First in our list of top ways to prepare for your trip to Vegas is to invest in some good walking shoes. While everything is relatively close together in Vegas, it’s actually bigger than you think it should be, and you’re going to want to explore. And you don’t want rubbing shoes to get in the way of this! Be sure to bring some shoes that are great for everyday use but won’t rub your feet and affect your exploring.

Check out some of the events before you go

Vegas is a city with so much going on that you want to take a look whats on before heading out there. This means you can make the most of every moment. One event you don’t want to miss this January is:

Wynn Las Vegas new living well programme focused on health and wellness

Las Vegas’ most luxurious resort, Wynn Las Vegas, has announced a new living well programme, Wynn Living Well, offering guests a range of carefully curated health and wellness experiences. Designed with fun and flexibility at its core, Wynn is able to offer guests world-class instructors, five-star treatments, exclusive fitness programmes and health-conscious fine dining. Experiences range from Tom Brady and Alex Guerrero’s TB12 method – a holistic approach to health and wellness – custom IV therapies at NutriDrip, bespoke in-room workout videos by Amanda Kloots and golf at the Wynn golf club, the only course on the Las Vegas Strip. The programme is focused on three pillars of health and wellness: renew, replenish and re-energize, and is available for both visitors and guests of the multiple award-winning resort.

Be prepared to budget

Vegas is expensive. This is why it’s important to prepare how much money you’re going to spend, before you head out there. Obviously you’re may go under or over, but if you have a set amount you’re willing to spend, it helps ensure you don’t go overboard! Try and pick places you want to eat and see if you can find vouchers or offers before you go.

Plan a rough itinerary in advance

Our final item in our top ways to prepare for your trip to Vegas is to plan a rough itinerary in advance. There is so much to see and do in Vegas you’re going to want to plan an itinerary. If you don’t, you may find yourself wandering around aimlessly not knowing where to go or what to see and missing out the best bits! Figure out how much time you have there and what you want to see, then sort into what is closest to eachother and best to visit when. Remember if you are coming from the UK you’re likely to be jetlagged or tired when you arrive, so try not to plan too much!

These are just a few of our top ways to prepare for your trip to Vegas that should help make the trip even better than anticipated. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
