If you’re not lucky enough to head to Japan this spring, have no fear for we’ve found the next best thing. Neverland has been transformed into a Japanese paradise – Little Kyoto – and you don’t want to miss it.
Situated in South London on Wandsworth Bridge Rd, it offers an immersive escape from the hustle and bustle of the city just beyond. Step through the torii archway into downtown Kyoto, enjoy a sake cocktail in the blossom-filled pagoda or take a stroll through the bonsai Japanese garden towards the Thames river.
Food-wise, you can tuck into a host of mouthwatering food such as bao buns filled with succulent pork belly, aromatic yakitori sticks, the finest sushi and crispy gyozas. Everything is cooked perfectly and served designed to be enjoyed alone or shared with your party. Celebrate with cocktails inspired by Spring, Yuzu and Lychee Martini, Midori Sour, Raspberry Blossom and Kyoto Mule, curated by Neverland’s very own in-house mixologist. The cocktails are all packed with flavour and come beautifully presented.
For those who fancy a night out, resident DJ Harry will be on the decks spinning house tunes to keep the party going along with a line-up of talented live performers, creating a celebration of all things Japanese. Prices start at £10 for a single table to £120 for a lodge for thirty people. Running from every Thursday to Sunday until May, Neverland’s Little Kyoto pop-up promises a slice of Japanese spring in the heart of Fulham.
