While you may know that Plateau Brighton is a wine bar, they also serve a whole range of delicious food dishes to accompany this. With a lively bar and a relaxing atmosphere it is the ideal spot for socialising over a bottle of vino, while indulging in a range of modern European sharing plates. The restaurant prides itself in being primarily for sharing dishes, however there are mains available for those who are fussy eaters or just prefer their own meal.

The décor of Plateau Brighton offers a bright and airy space with rustic looking furniture and an authentic French vibe; from the pictures on the wall to the exposed brickwork. Sustainability is a key element to Plateau Brighton’s menu and all the dishes are focused on the season. Ingredients are sourced from biodynamic farms and the menu changes based on what is available from fishers, game hunters, butchers and forages, with a strong focus on percatarian eating and reduced on red meat options. Example dishes include heritage courgette, almond, ajo bianco (vegan) or spatzle, broadbeans, ricotta salata (vegetarian), meat platters, fish platters and more.

 Head down for lunch at the weekend where you can share plates or order from the a la carte menu –  A set lunch menu is priced at one course for £12, two courses for £16 and three courses for £20. If you’re not feeling too hungry, be sure to try one of their wine tasting sessions or head down for a glass or two and watch the world go by.
