Product Spotlight: Stokke Clikk Highchair

There is nothing quite as overwhelming as being a new parent. You soon find yourself knee-deep in cardboard boxes and bubble wrap, drowning in new nursery items. Which is why you want to assemble these items to be as easy as possible. And let’s face it, nothing moves faster than a crawling six month old who senses you have something important to do that might distract you for a split second. This is where Stokke comes in. Their Clikk highchair is designed to be super easy to build, without compromising on quality or appearance. Here we take a look at the Stokke Clikk highchair, our product of the week and let you know our thoughts!

Stokke Clikk highchair

What is it?

The Stokke Clikk highchair is designed for easy mealtimes from six months and professes to assemble in just one minute. As anyone who has ever built an item of furniture will know, you can normally multiply this figure by at least ten and give yourself a time out to argue with your partner about which piece goes where in the meantime. We’re pleased to announce that this is the nearest furniture building estimate we’ve ever experienced. It really is a case of just popping the four legs underneath (they’re handily labelled left and right for ease) then slotting in the tray and foot rest until you hear a satisfying click. You need no tools and there are very minimal parts to put together.

Stokke Clikk highchair

It’s ridiculously easy yet the result isn’t something that looks cheap and quick. It both looks and feel premium and high-quality and is very sturdy. The Stokke Clikk highchair is designed to be used from six months until three years making it a more than worthy investment. The footrest is adjustable so your child can feel comfortable no matter their age.

Other practical points to note is just how easy it is to clean. Wipe clean in seconds or simply pop the tray in the dishwasher for a deeper clean. It has also been recognised as a Red Dot Winner – something that only 1.2% of objects entering into the awards win. Included in the package is the Stokke Clikk chair, the Stokke Clikk tray, the Stokk Clikk 5-point harness which allows for safe movement. Additional extras you can purchase include the Stokke Clikk cushion, ezpz™ by Stokke™ placemat for Clikk™ Tray and the Stokke Clikk travel bag when you need to take it with you. This can be handy when going on holiday or for dinner at a friends house.

We opted for the Fjord blue, however other colours in the range include white, cloud grey, black natural, midnight black, sunny coral and clover green.

Why we love it

We love how easy it is to assemble and how great it looks once it’s up. The Stokke Click highchair is an ideal blend of practicality and perfectly-executed design. It’s lightweight, easy to move around and clean and ticks all the boxes.

Price

At the time of writing it is priced at £149.
