What better way to mark Vogue’s 100th year than with a Vogue Cafe?
2016 marks Vogue’s centenary mark and with the Vogue Festival and a whole plethora of events around the city celebrating the matter, it’s only fitting they integrate the foodie scene with the celebrations. This comes in the form of the new Vogue Cafe pop-up due to open in London’s very own Westfield next month.
The venue will serve four types of Champagne by the glass, including Bollinger Rosé, along with Prosecco, cocktails and hot chocolate. Krug Grand Cuvee Brut NV will cost £195 a bottle. If you want to go there to eat, there will be a range of muffins, sandwiches and cupcakes on offer as well as what we expect will be a fashionably fabulous traditional cream tea. The space will showcase a range of British Vogue covers from the last century and is sure to attract a crowd of fashionable shoppers through its doors.
“2016 is an exceptional year for Vogue, and continuing the centenary celebrations the VogueCafé will be a perfect stop-off for shoppers in The Village at Westfield,” said Alexandra Shulman, Editor-in-Chief of BritishVogue.
This Cafe is the second of its type, though the first in Europe. Their first opening was Vogue Café Moscow and Vogue Lounge in Kuala Lumpur will open later this year, following on from a similar lounge in Bangkok.
Vogue Cafe will be open from June 16 to September 18 2016 in The Village Westfields, Shepherbs Bush, West London
