This spring, Louis Pommery English sparkling wine will be unveiling its summer terrace in partnership with St Ermin’s Hotel, the acclaimed sparkling wine from Maison Pommery & Associés and official sparkling wine of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. A collaboration rooted in shared values of heritage, sustainable practices and celebratory moments, this is the ideal escape for summer.

Where?
Nestled at St Ermin’s Hotel near St James Park, the terrace is set amidst lush greenery and offers a sophisticated setting to raise a glass in the sunshine and enjoy fresh sushi.
When?
Launching on 28th April, the terrace will be transformed with Louis Pommery England touches.
What?
Expect wine pairings with fresh sushi, bespoke Louis Pommery England cocktails, as well as the wider Pommery pours. In addition, every Wednesday, a ‘Taste of St Ermin’s’ wine hour, curated by the Head Chef will take place. The series will welcome rotating tastings from the brand’s suppliers – from artisan cheeses to hand-selected charcuterie – alongside Louis Pommery England to balance the palate. Served in bespoke branded glassware provided by Pommery, these evenings will welcome hotel guests.
Chelsea Flower Show Special Afternoon Tea
Coinciding with the Chelsea Flower Show, running from 15th-24th May, the hotel will extend the collaboration beyond the terrace. Guests can enjoy an enhanced Afternoon Tea experience at the Tea Lounge and Library Lounge with a glass of Louis Pommery England and a limited-edition pastry created by the hotel’s Pastry Chef, incorporating the champagne. Glasses of Louis Pommery England and special cocktails will also be available at The Caxton Bar – once frequented by Winston Churchill.
At the heart of this partnership lies a natural alignment of histories – two institutions that each have paved their own narratives. Since its opening in 1899, St Ermin’s has played host to moments of historical significance; from wartime intelligence operations, to political gatherings, the destination has a rich history. Likewise, Maison Pommery & Associés saw Madame Pommery spearhead the brand from 1858, revolutionising champagne with the creation of the first commercially successful Brut style, which continues to thrive today.
Sustainability also underpins the collaboration, with the partnership welcoming an opportunity to craft a bespoke Louis Pommery England cocktail celebrating careful practices. A bespoke cocktail will include honey from St Ermin’s third-floor Bee Terrace which provides a sanctuary for pollinators. The Louis Pommery vineyard also utilises regenerative farming practises, with a strong commitment to ecological sensitivity and biodiversity, ensuring mindful practices are used for the partnership. Together, the collaboration offers a thoughtfully crafted summer experience, where history, craftsmanship and summer celebration can meet.
