What the Pitta have an already established fan base amongst hungry Londoners – both vegan and meat-eaters. They are famed for their unique kebabs and their popularity is only growing. What the Pitta Brighton

What The Pitta was founded by British-Turkish friends Cam Yildiz and Rojdan Gul. Cem had recently turned vegan due to his passion for the health and environment, however he was missing the grilled flavours of his favourite Turkish foods which he had struggled to find since changing his diet. Roj’s uncle had been working to perfect his own cult vegan kebabs in Germany for years, so they went to Turkey, learny the secret recipe and then opened their first pop up What the Pitta in Shoreditch shortly after!

Co-Founder Cem Yildiz comments:
‘It’s incredible that in just two years we have grown so quickly with the support of our loyal
customers, and will now be opening our fourth location. What started as a little wooden stall in Shoreditch is now a well-known name amongst the vegan community, especially in London. We can’t wait to take our kebabs further afield with our Brighton opening. We hope to continue encouraging people across the South-East to be meat free more often by providing delicious and satisfying alternatives, with added health and environmental benefits.”

What The Pitta Brighton will be opening on Friday 16th November on East Street.
