Rooftop bars have been popping up in abundance over recent years, city revellers enjoying the sun-kissed spots with breathtaking views and it is with great delight we announce that Selfridges is opening a roof deck restaurant and bar. Promising to transport viewers to the sunny climates of the West Coast, it is offering a Californian-inspired experience, complete with a timber boardwalk lined with palms, tropical plants and sand-lined floors. The concept is a collaboration between Selfridges and restauranteur Des McDonald and situated in the heart of Oxford Street is the ideal spot for summer socialising.

Des McDonald says of the concept “I’m delighted to be working with Selfridges on a new concept for the roof this spring and summer.  I’ve spent a lot of time in California and enjoy the fresh, healthy attitude to food so I’m excited to bring this to London.”
