When looking to discover new wine, look no further than 28-50. There are three wine workshops around the city with a specially curated menu of around 15 white and 15 red wines. They are available by the glass, bottle or carafe meaning whether you’re popping in for a quick glass after work or settling down for an evening with friends there is something for you. The decor in all three is chic and stylish, an ideal atmosphere to while away the hours.

Next on our list of wine bars in London is P.Franco. This bar prides itself on being laid-back and relaxed, offering fine wines in a chilled atmosphere. A centre communal table means it’s a great place to mingle with others or to sit around with friends. They offer a regularly changing roster of tastings and events and their wine menu is as exciting as it is invigorating. They offer a range of natural wines which mean the end result is both unpredictable and intriguing – and well worth a try.

There are three branches of Humble Grape wine bar in London – Islington, Fleet Street and Battersea. With an ethos to let you enjoy wine on your terms, they provide wine for you to savour at home in their shop or to drink in the bar with over 200 varieties which can be ordered by the glass, carafe or bottle. One of the best bits? You can try a flight of four wines for just £13.

4Sager and Wilde

Nestled in Hackney Road is the sleek wine bar Sager and Wilde. Cosy and inviting it exudes subtle parisian vibes, with sultry decor and a bar made from pavement lights. The atmosphere is easy-going meaning you don’t need to “know wines” to enjoy yourself (but if you do the staff are happy to engage in conversation about them.) It’s a great spot to unwind and try a new range of wines with your friends. You might want to book as it’s a small space and can get busy quickly.
