With designs ranging from £12 to £200, it’s highly affordable. Yet we’re impressed y how uber trendy the collection is too. It was a real treat to be invited to the launch of the new label, hosted by none other than ‘It Girl’ Daisy Lowe, who rocked as V by Very’s brand ambassador.
The event, held in the unique surrounds of 93 Mortimer Street in Marylebone, pumped with music (with Daisy Lowe expertly DJing in the background) while digital screens showcased the collection and a giant mirrored selfie room attracted party goers.
As celebrities swanned around us, including the likes of Rosie Fortescue from Made in Chelsea, we took in the inaugural collection from the new brand. One striking mannequin simply screamed ‘power woman’, striking a daunting pose in a ferocious faux fur coat.
Upstairs, we were on cloud nine: a whole walk-in-wardrobe was set up to display the gorgeous new offering.
My favourite thing about the new V by Very collection was the colour palette. Lots of red and black numbers – perfect for party season, but also, as anyone who knows me will tell you, red is my ultimate favourite colour to wear. I immediately fell in love with an amazing red lace dress with a structured waterfall skirt. So imagine my surprise when a lovely wardrobe assistant wandered up to me and ask me if it was the one I wanted.
I didn’t clock as first, but it turns out that all night V by Very was running a social media campaign which traded tweets and posts as currency for clothes. I had been happy-snapping all night for Seen in the City, totally oblivious to the implications. I kid you not, I walked away with that dress the happiest woman of the night. Not only that, but they threw in an amazing gothic black Victorian-style skirt too! 
Needless to say, I couldn’t wait to try on the red dress when I got home. Now all I need is a ball to go to. Or I could just wear it around the house at weekends!
